Two Temple Streets, an Invisible Journey in Yau Ma Tei
Students search for photographs of Temple Street, as posted on the Internet by domestic and foreign tourists. By their routes and travel notes, the students will track the visitors’ footprints and take some more photos, which will then be collaged with the tourists’ photos as if they were travelling and posing together. They then send such photos to the lucky tourists and await responses. Through these interactions, students experience Yau Ma Tei in the point of view of tourists; and tourists also experienced the place through students’ experiences again.

Artist Biography
PAK Sheung Chuen is a Hong Kong artist. He currently lives and works in Hong Kong. He works as　a photographer, painter, writer and conceptual artist. His works, with ideas derived from the people, events and things around him, are conceptual, poetic and humorous, and each is a deep thought on everyday life. Between 2003 and 2007, he was a regular visual art columnist for the Sunday supplement of Ming Pao Daily News. He has published three books: Odd One In: Hong Kong Diary (2005), See Walk What on 1 July (2005) and Odd One In II: Invisible Travel (2009). Pak has participated in Taipei Biennial 10, 3rd Yokohama Triennial, 3rd Guangzhou Triennial, China Power Station II and 6th Busan Biennale etc. His solo exhibition Page 22 is permanently installed in New York’s 58th Street Branch Library. He represented Hong Kong to the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009. His artworks were collected by Tate Modern Museum, Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art etc. In 2011, Pak was selected by Art Asia Pacific as one of the Outstanding Artists and Promising Figures of the Year.Personal website: www.oneeyeman.com
